Be Modern is awarded ISO14001 Accreditation
Be Modern has been awarded ISO14001 accreditation – the internationally recognised environmental management standard.
In order to become ISO14001 compliant, Be Modern had to provide evidence of an established framework and policy for operating in a way that has minimal impact on the environment as well as clear plans and achievable targets for future environmental performance.
By implementing an Environmental system Be Modern was able to closely examine its own business, improve systems and procedures and help the organisation with the following;
- Reduce waste by increased recycling.
- Involve and motivate all staff to raise performance and make improvements
- Reduce the Environmental impact of our work.
- Highlight any service or product deficiencies.
- Give a clear signal to our customers that we are continuously looking at the way we operate and taking positive steps to improve our service and Environmental profil

In 2007, Be Modern set up a dedicated team to focus the business on greener working practices. The team role was to develop and introduce new initiatives and changes to everyday business practices that will continue to drive down waste and improve efficiency.
In 2008 Be Modern was awarded ISO14001 accreditation. This achievement reinforces Be Moderns ongoing commitment to reducing the impact business has on the environment.
